Where there is no vision, the people perish. —Proverbs 29:18

Vision is more than just ambition; it's a vivid mental image of a desirable future. It propels us forward, gives purpose, and guides decisions. Without vision, we feel lost and stagnant. The first stone cutter, with a tired and unenthusiastic expression, said, "I am cutting stones to earn a living. It's a boring job, but it pays enough to support my family." The second stone cutter, appearing more content than the first, replied, "I take pride in my work. I am a skilled stone cutter, and my goal is to create the best stones possible. I want to be known for my craftsmanship." The third stone cutter, who seemed joyful and passionate, beamed with enthusiasm as he said, "I am not just cutting stones; I am building a magnificent cathedral! Each stone I shape contributes to something much greater than myself – a sacred place that will inspire generations to come." Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that vision is the key to unlocking our potential and creating a better future. Embrace the power of vision and watch your life, organization, or team transform.
